I really have been meaning to update this for ages, however things always get in the way. Well the children are in bed and the telly is off so it seems like a good time to show you some photos of what we've been up to recently
The children got gameboys for Christmas and seem to be enjoying them.
Esme's been busy with her etch a sketch, I've never managed a recognisable picture
Having perfected a single flower we now get gardens of them complete with grass.
Another Christmas present was a hexbug nano which Esme has named Bluebell. We had great fun building a maze for it to roam around in.
We started with wooden blocks but it's a persistent little bug and rather than turn round when it bumped into the blocks it manages to move them out of the way. It's a quick little thing too, and took a bit of recapturing.
The duplo maze was much better and Bluebell was contained! Sometimes a bit too much, some of our inital attempts didn't give her quite enough space to turn round.
I'm sure there will be some more garden updates as the weather improves, it's our big project of the year.
