Demolition day, step one. Frog herding

Having got back for our holiday a little earlier than planned the weather has been quite nice so we've been out in the garden. Yesterday Daniel started removing the decking which used to house a hot tub. It went faster then we thoght as as today is also forcase to be good weather we sorted a skip and jack hammer for this morning.

The first step was to moev the pile of decking planks round to the front where a happy freecycler should collect them later. Unfortunately overnight our friendly frogs seemed to think we has build them a new home and had taken up lodging in the wood pile. Not wishing to hurt them we tried to herd them out of the way.

It turns out frogs are not the easiest animals to herd, getting all three of the out of the way took a while, especially since they wanted to go up onto the concrete but couldn't quite make the jump.

Esme cleared as much sand as possible back into the sandpit
.
Daniel started work.

So far the children seem OK about the noise, they are upstairs playing with 200 balls and a small tent.
