No we haven't had any snow yet, it's the craft activity for Woodcraft on Wednesday. This one has been in the planning for a while, I think it was July when I saw the polystyrene shapes in the Scrapstore which made me think snowman.
The snowman itself was quite easy, the challenge now is working out ways to make a hat which a group of 6 & 7 year old's can manage. We've done a couple of attempts at sewing this year but they do get themselves in quite a tangle!
The advent calendar suffered a minor disaster today. If you fill something with chocolate and hang it above the radiator it tends to lead to a certain amount of melting. In fairness I did think about it about half an hour after putting it up. I took it down and left it on the table while I though of somewhere else to put it. However Dan put it back up when clearing the table ready to eat. Ooops, any ideas for removed melted chocolate from fabric?
