Monday morning we all got ready, for once we were on time. Then Dan took all the papers out of Esme's school bag to find that school did not start back till Tuesday. OK kids, trial run over you can go back to playing.
Tuesday we made it to school on time and Alex went off to preschool for the afternoon. as I was picking them up it started snowing and carried on through the night.
Wednesday the school was closed so we made the most of our extra day to play in the snow.

Alex practised throwing enormous snowballs, mostly at me.
Today we have had another day to play, the snowman fell over in the night and the snow is not so sticky today so we haven't managed to make another. Still we've spent time outside making footprints and looking at those made by the cats and birds in the garden.
This time Esme slid down the snowy slide into the pile of snow at the bottom, who says you can't use a climbing frame in winter. It's a shame I left the camera inside.
