It's obvious really, everything is in the last place you look because once you've found it you stop looking! It's just we have quite a lot of boxes to look in.
The good news is Alex's clothes have turned up, in his wardrobe draws! As soon as we found them it seemed like the obvious place to look but it's taken us a week to think of it.
When we moved to our last house we were very safety concious and bought a fire extinguisher and fire blanket for the kitchen. They did live in the kitchen but in 8 years never made it onto the walls. They are now up in our new kitchen. I think we are settling in much faster this time.
