Cake and a spoon

My spoon sized hazel branch now bears much more resemblance to a spoon than a branch. Several hours of carving later he's what I've made. Still a bit more sanding to go before I can oil it and actually use it

I'm quite happy with this one, much more spoon like and usable than my previous attempt

Yesterday was Dans birthday, as we went out for Pizza we didn't make a cake. With Alex's help we made some belated birthday buns today. Once Esme was home they both joined in with the decorating.

Alex did the chocolate sprinkles, Esme's are pink. The sprinkles were Christmas presents the year before last along with mummy made aprons. I don't think we make that many buns since we still have plenty left!
