A Woodcrafty weekend

Last weekend we headed out to the Wilderness Centre in the Forset of Dean for a Woodcraft training weekend.

The children had a great time playing out in the woods and carving marshmallow sticks. They were certainly tired out, they both slept in the car on the way home and still went to bed on time!

It was a bit cold for the perfect campfire, but the one we had was OK. At least the rain held off.

Unfortunately I didn't get time to carve my own spoon over the weekend. I brought home a spoon sized hazel branch and have been working on it at home. It;s got to be said the conservatory is great. Feels almost like being outside but much much warmer.

I'll post pictures once it's done
