The peas have been great, non have got as far as actually being cooked but them made for some nice snacks and salads. They are defiantly on the list of things to grow again.
We've had a few runner beans, though I think today is the first time there are enough for a sensible serving and there are lots more on the plants. Unfortunately there are also lots of black flies.
2 of the grow bags of tomatoes are doing well, although as usual I haven't tied them to their canes as frequently as I should and they are a bit on the wonky side. The final grow bag doesn't have nifty cane supports and so have flopped over completely.
The tomatoes and half of the beans which were in the ground had to be transferred to pots as they were in the way when the new fence was put up. They are not doing as well as those which have not been disturbed but are just starting to flower.
The rosemary cuttings we brought back from our last trip to Sheffield are doing well, it will be nice to have some herbs again. A bay tree is defiantly on my list of things to plant when we get round to planning the borders.
I'm actually surprised that the courgettes are growing at all, the got trodden on several times when the fence was going up but they seem to be recovering.
