Garden Again

It's s low progress in the garden. Last weekend we focused on getting bit by the garage ready to plant some raspberries. We've put in some upright posts ready for the wires and I dug in a lot of manure. Yesterday I planted the first three raspberry canes but it started raining before I could get the last couple in.

Tonight I harvested the first tomatoes, four cherry tomatoes, not a great harvest from 12 plants. There are  plenty of green ones they just don't seem to be ripening.

The children got a pair of bird feeders over the summer and have been having great fun watching the birds. While I was out this evening I spotted a visitor I don't think we are going to find in any of the bird spotting guides.
